Mrs. Christ Kuiper
- Christ Kuiper returned Sunday from a two week stay in Phoenix, Arizona, where he flew to see his wife and children, Doris and Chris who have been in Phoenix since September in an effort to improve Mrs. Kuiper's health. While there, Christ saw the Arizona Rodeo which is considered to be the world's most spectacular.

- Ed Kuiper flew to Phoenix, Arizona, where his mother, sister, and brother, Doris and Chris, have spent the winter in an effort to improve Mrs. Kuiper's health. A letter back home informs Mr. Kuiper that Ed is enjoying his trip immensely, his first vacation since his return from Japan. With the thermometer registering the temperature at 96 degrees, summer there is in full sway. Ed flew out so he could chauffeur the family home for Decoration Day.
