The following obituary was found in Lowell Public Library clipping files (LH--Vital Statistics, vol. 4, page 23) and was hand dated and identified as being from the Mar. 13, 1875, Lowell Star:

Mrs. Elizabeth Peterson had passed away at Crown Point on March 5th, and the remains were brought to Lowell for burial.
