The following undated, unidentified newspaper article was found in a copy of Helen Craft's Scrapbook at the Lowell Public Library:

Mrs. Fedde died last Friday morning at her son-in-law's, Ed Meyers. She has been sickly for some time but death was not expected so soon. She was buried at this place Sunday at one o'clock, Rev. E.T. George officiating. She left two sons and three daughters to mourn her loss.
