The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:

Mrs. John Stoffle, 63 Dies of Heart Attack

Mrs. John Stoffle, 63, passed away July 11 at her home on the north edge of Lowell. Mrs. Stoffle had recently suffered heart attacks and had been hospitalized.

Born in Hungary, Mrs. Stoffle was a resident of Chicago before coming to Lowell.

She is survived by her husband, John, of Lowell; a daughter, Kay Seibert of Chicago; also a stepson and stepdaughter; a brother , John Heinrich of Lowell; a sister, Helen Eslinger; and four grandchildren.

Memorial services were conducted in the Hornburg & Sons Funeral Home in Chicago and burial was made in the Waltheim cemetery there.
