The following April 15, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 3:

    Myron Allison in Seebees

    Mrs. Myron Allison has just returned from a 5-day visit with her husband, 2nd Class Seaman Myron "Mike" Allison. Mike is in the Seabees and is stationed at Camp Peary in Virginia. He plans on getting home for 10 days the last of April and then expects to sail. Mrs. Allison enjoyed the trip, especially the beautiful cherry trees in full bloom and the White House lawn, which was a beautiful sight.

This Lowell Tribune article was found in the January 18, 1945, issue (page 7, column 2):
    Myron Allison, M.M. 3/c, who has been stationed at Clatskanie, Ore. for 7 months is awaiting new orders for overseas duty again. Myron served 13 months in the Aleutians with the seabees.

This November 15, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:
    Word from the Great Lakes Monday contained the information that three local men, Loyal Alyea, Myron Allison and Dorsey Ruley, have been discharged. Hugh Rieke, with the Sea Bees, also discharged, arrived home last week. All four of these boys have seen much overseas service.
