    MARRIED AT GARY

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Belshaw, who were married last Tuesday evening, are receiving friends in their newly furnished apartment at 1338 Marshall street, Gary.

Attired in a beige crepe dress trimmed with white organdy and carrying a colonial bouquet of talisman roses, larkspur and daffodils, the former Myrtle Marks became the bride of Earl Belshaw at a quiet ceremony in the manse of First Presbyterian church. Rev. F.W. Backmeyer officiated. Mrs. Milton Krieg, sister of the bride, as matron of honor, wore brown crepe with a corsage of tea roses and sweet peas. Mr. Krieg was the best man.

A dinner and reception was held later in the Krieg home.

Mrs. Belshaw is the daughter of Mrs. Clara Marks, of Gary. Mr. Belshaw's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bert Belshaw of Lowell. Mrs. Belshaw is employed at the Lowell Public Library. Her husband holds employment with the American Sheet and Tinplate Co. Both young people are active in young people's work of the First Presbyterian church.
