Norman Griggs

This Lowell Tribune article was found in the July 19, 1945, issue (page 2, column 1):
Mrs. Nelson Griggs of Schneider recently received a letter from their son, Norman, written June 23rd, which stated that he had entered the hospital June 22nd for treatment of an ear infection. Another letter received July 12th said he was still in the hospital, but there had been an improvement in his condition and he expected to be released in a week or so. Norman is in the Philippines with the U.S. infantry. He had just passed a clerk-typist test and was to have been assigned to his new position the same day he entered the hospital.
