The following December 27, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 6:

    ANNOUNCE ENGAGEMENT OF MISS PAT HARPER

    Mr. and Mrs. John Harper are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Patricia, to John A. Sheets, son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth A. Sheets.

    Both Patricia and John are graduates of Lowell high school's class of '51. John is a student at St. Joseph's college in Rensselaer and Pat is employed as a clerk at Hathaway's Market.

    No date has been set for the wedding.
