The following June 26, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 2:

    ATKINSON - BLANKENSHIP ENGAGEMENT ANNOUNCED

    Mrs. Marshall Keithley, of Crown Point, announces the engagement of her daughter, Phyllis Ann Atkinson, to Murrel Blankenship, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Blankenship.

    Murrel is employed as janitor at South Ward grade school.

    No date has been set for the wedding.

    The Keithleys are former Lowell residents and Phyllis Ann attended Lowell schools.
