The following September 19, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 5, column 6:

The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Manford Pattee will be glad to learn of the arrival of a baby daughter, born to them last Saturday at the Methodist hospital in Gary. The little Miss has been named Phyllis Jean Pattee. Both mother and babe are getting along fine. Mr. Pattee is an employee of the Allman-Gary Title Co. -- Crown Point Register.
