Ray Aagard

The following January 20, 1921 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 6:

    Takes His Life

Ray Aagard, living on the Staley Donaha farm in Eagle Creek township, while despondent, took his own life Tuesday. He shot himself in the head. It is reported that he and his wife did not always live the happiest and it is thought that the worry over this might have temporarily unbalanced his mind and caused him to commit the rash act. He was not dead when he was found and he was started to a hospital but died in Crown Point before he could reach the hospital.
