COUPLE TO WED IN NUPTIAL MASS AT CAMP CHAPEL
Miss Marilyn Theresa Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.D. Long of West Main street will become the bride of Pvt. Raymond C. Baker, Jr., son of the Senior Bakers of Joliet, Ill., on Saturday, July 14th, at a nuptial mass in the chapel of Camp Warden, Seattle, Washington, where Pvt. Baker is serving in the army camp's office.Mr. and Mrs. Baker left Joliet Friday, accompanied by their son, William, and Miss Lois Mae Long, sister of the bride, to be present at the ceremony. The couple will be attended by his brother, William, and her sister, Lois.
Miss Long, a graduate of Providence high school, Joliet, recently resigned her position at the Joliet Arsenal. Mr. Baker is an alumnus of St. Bedes college, LaSalle, Ill., and prior to his induction last December, was employed in the office of the Standard Oil Co., in Joliet.
The couple will reside at Camp Warden.

- The Misses Lucille and Mildred Long returned this week to their classes at Providence high school in Joliet, Ill., after spending the holiday vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Long. Sgt. and Mrs. Raymond Baker of Fort Worden, Washington, were guests of her parents, the Longs, and of his parents, the Raymond Bakers, Sr., of Joliet, over the holidays. Also at home was Mrs. Donald Helt of Manhattan, Ill., whose husband, Pvt. Donald Helt of the U.S. Army, is now enroute to Japan.
