    Family Reunion Held

    Seventy-one descendants of James and Mulvina Smith gathered at Island Park, Momence, on Sunday, Aug. 21, for the first annual reunion in eight years. Those in attendance were:

    Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Sanders, Sam Petrie and family, Mrs. Dollie Smith and family and James Kile of Lowell, Ind.; Clyde Smith and family, Wayne Smith and family, E.L. Murray and family and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Smith of Monon, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Chappell of Grant Park; Robt. Stearman of Kankakee; Mrs. Charles Bowman and family of Belshaw, Ind.; Walter Hayden and family of Gary, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Hayden of Crown Point, Ind.; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Mertie Templeton and daughter, Roland of Valparaiso, Ind.; Miss Agnes Callahan of Kansas City, Mo.; Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Neidenberger, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Massina and family, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hayden, Joe Jensen and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Wurld and son, of Chicago; Burton Kile and family, Matt Grimes, Mrs. Wm. Morris and children and Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Hayhurst of Momence. The day was spent in a most pleasant manner, and at the noon hour all enjoyed a picnic dinner. -- Momence Press-Reporter.
