This unidentified newspaper article, dated Aug. 12, 1926, was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:

Rev. Charles A. Brown, who has been the pastor of the Methodist church here for the past nine years, announced at the church services last Sunday morning that he would not return to Lowell again next year. Rev. Brown had been the pastor here for so many years the congregation thought he was a fixture here. He will be sadly missed.
