Rev. Dunning Idle

Rev. Dunning Idle

The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:

    A Little Idle

Jan. 6, 1905, was a memorable day in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dunning Idle, and there was occasion for much joy over the advent of the birth of a ten pound baby son, which was just the thing they had set their hearts on. So positive were the young parents that it would be a boy that they have a name picked out for him and now he is called Dunning Delos Idle. Papa Idle was in a happy frame of mind during his sermon Sunday night (presumably over the event) that unconsciously the entire audience were in a correspondingly happy mood. Congratulations are extended.
