Robert Veselak

The following December 11, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 6:
Pfc. Robert Veselak; son of Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Veselak, route 1, Lake Village, learned techniques of amphibious warfare in the recent "Operation Sea Scrape" at Little Creek, Va.

Returning to Camp Drum, N.Y., with his unit, the 278 Regimental Combat Team, he now will prepare for "Exercise Snow Storm," which is scheduled for early 1953.

Army, Navy, and Marine Corps personnel took part in "Operation Sea Scrape," a joint maneuver highlighted by amphibious landings under stimulated combat conditions.

Veselak, who entered the Army in September 1951, has been serving as a member of Company B.
