The following December 13, 1951, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 3, column 4:

Among the boys who recently enjoyed a furlough at home was Pfc. Robert Uhter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Uhter. Pfc. Uhter has been visiting his wife and parents for the past week and has now returned to Amarillo, Texas, where he is serving with the air police of the army air forces.
