Miss Carol Anne Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gale Evans, 13654 E. Garvey Ave., exchanged nuptial vows with Sgt. Ronald D. Corning, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Corning of Lowell, Ind., Saturday evening, March 31, in Yuma, Arizona. Rev. William Spears officiated at the double-ring services. The bride chose as her wedding ensemble a red suit with white accessories and a white hat. Her corsage was of red and white carnations.Miss Jo Ella Stubbs, Baldwin Park, attended as maid of honor, and was attired in a navy blue and white afternoon dress with black accessories.
Sgt. Clifford J. Cardinal, March Air Force Base, was best man.
The bride is a senior at Covina Union high school and will graduate in June. Mr. Corning attended Lowell high school and enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving for two years in that branch prior to being transferred into the Air Force. He is at present stationed at March Air Force Base near Riverside following overseas duty.
