Ronald D. Sanders
- Pfc. Sanders of the Marines, son of Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Sanders of Mt. Ayr, formerly of Lowell, is in California where he awaits overseas duty in Korea.

- Mr. and Mrs. O.L. Sanders, former Lowell folks who now reside at Mt. Ayer, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Nash at Cedar Lake. Mrs. Nash is convalescing from serious illness which kept her bedfast for two weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders inform their host of Lowell friends that their son Ronald, who is fighting with the Marines in Korea, was fine when last heard from three weeks ago.
The following January 24, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 5:
- Cpl. Ronald Sanders of the First Marine Division, who is stationed at Parris Island, N.C., is enjoying a 20-day leave with his parents, the O.L. Sanders of Mt. Ayr, formerly of Lowell, and with relatives and friends here and at Cedar Lake.
