Ronald Horn
Fire Last Night Routes Horn Family from Beds
Fire routed Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Horn and two little children from their beds late last night. Mr. Horn heard the crackling of fire and awakened his family who made a fast exit clad in their pajamas. Lowell firemen fought the blaze, which started in the basement and swept up the stairway, from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. Most of the family's clothing was saved, but extensive damage was done to the interior of the house at the Carlson farm, located on south Nichols Street. The property formerly belonged to the Horace Blizzard family.Return to Biographies.
