The following article was found in the April 13, 1944, Lowell Tribune on page 4, column 3:
    Mrs. Adele (Meyer) Zimmerman, who has been with her husband, stationed with the navy in New York City, for sometime, has been here visiting her parents, the past two weeks. Her brother, Rudolph, stationed with the infantry in Maryland, has also been home on furlough. A neighborhood gathering in their honor was held at the Meyer home.
