Russell H. Nelson
- Russell H. Nelson, age 84, of Lowell, passed away Tues., Aug. 30, 1994.
He is survived by: two sons, Lonnie Nelson and Dan Nelson, both of Crown
Point; three daughters, Jean (Stephen) Duncan Cain of Monticello, Janet
(Bob) Stortz of Brookston and Devonne McBain of Lowell; 12
grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren;
and one niece. He was preceded in death by one son, Jackie, in 1937.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Sept. 2 at Sheets Funeral Home,
Lowell, with Pastor Rick Marcy officiating. Burial followed at Sanders
Cemetery in Lowell. Visitation was held from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9
p.m. Sept. 1 at the funeral home. Russell Nelson was a member of
American Legion Post No. 101 in Lowell.
