Sarah Jane Thorn Clark (1841-1919)

Sarah Jane Thorn Clark (1841-1919)
(Mrs. Perry Decalvus Clark)

The following article was found on page 1, column 4 of the September 7, 1916, Lowell Tribune:

    House Burned

The fire alarm was sounded early Tuesday morning, the cause being that lightning had struck the house near the P.D. Clark brick yard. The building seemed to catch fire all over at the same time and consequently when the firemen got there they could do but little toward saving it. The building was a total loss. Luckily no one occupied it at the present time, so that no one was made homeless by the fire. The house was owned by Mrs. S.J. Clark.
