    Announce Engagement

    Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Eskridge of Schneider announce the engagement of their daugter Shirley, to Joseph R. Cassady II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Cassady Sr. of Lowell.

    Shirley, a graduate of Lowell high school with the class of 1956, is formerly from Chicago. Joseph was educated in the schools of Louisville, Kenrucky, former home of the Cassadys. He was trained and worked his apprenticeship on the Eastern Line of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad as telegrapher and operator. He is now employed with the Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad, Chicago Heights, Ill.

    Wedding plans for the popular couple are indefinite.
