Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Gund, Kankakee, Ill., announce the marriage of their daughter, Mary Alice, to Air Cadet Shirley H. Dahling, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Smithers, also of Kankakee.

The ceremony took place March 13 at Albuquerque, N. M., where the groom is attending school.

Both are graduates of Kankakee high school. The bride has been employed as operator by the Bell Telephone Co. Before entering the service nearly two years ago the groom was employed on the New York Central railroad. They will make their home in Albuquerque for the present.

The bride is well known here, where she has visited relatives many times, and her many friends join in extending congratulations.
