    HAS INVENTIVE IMAGINATION

    The following news story about a former Lowell boy, Pvt. Stanley J. Sibo, will be of interest to many of our readers:

    "With a few pieces of scrap metal, a little spare time, and an inventive imagination, Pfc. Stanley J. Sibo remembers his friends with artistically designed novelties. Occupying his free time, brass shell cases and scrap plane metal become interesting and useful souvenirs under his skillful workmanship. It may be an ash tray made from a 105 mm shell case, a 50-calibre shell, a couple of 30's and some plane metal; a picture frame from expended shells; or some other product of his imagination. Pvt. Sibo, who is a messenger for his unit, studied mechanical aviation at Lane Tech high school, Chicago, and prior to his induction into the armed forces was employed as a cabinet maker and designer for furniture."

    Stanley lived here with his parents when a boy, and attended Lowell grade school. His family members now live near Crown Point.
