The following April 18, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 5:
    Susie Anna, second daughter of Thomas and Rachel Dickinson, was born April 10, 1858, in Carroll county, Ohio. She, with the family, came to Cedar Creek township early in 1860, where her girlhood was spent. She united with the Christian church at Lowell when just a girl.

    On July 1, 1880, she was united in marriage to Willis Allen. To them one daughter was born, Bernice Lillian. December 10, 1891, she was married to G.H. Baker. To them two daughters were born, Marvel Iris and Georgia Rachel. She was married to C.B. Kinney, April 9, 1906. He preceded her in death four years.

    After a brief illness she passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elwood Forney, near Gary, on April 11, at 1 p.m. at the age of 71 years and one day.

    She has always resided in or near Lowell until the last five years, since which time she has resided at Tolleston and Glenn Park with her daughter and family.

    She leaves to mourn her passing, three daughters, Mrs. Bernice Tyson, of Chicago, Mrs. Elwood Forney, of near Gary, and Mrs. Earl Coleman, of Los Angeles, California, five grand sons, three grand daughters, one step son Lyman Kinney, of Royal Center, Ind., one step daughter, Ethel Miller, of South Bend, Ind., three brothers, William and Grant Dickson, of Lowell, and Edmund Dickson of West Palm Beach, Florida, besides a host of friends.

    Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Lowell Sunday, at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Lowell cemetery, Weaver and Son in charge.
