Thomas Craft (1824-1903)

The following death announcement, hand labeled as beingin in 1903, was found in the Reports of the Historical Secretary of the Old Settlers' Association of Lake County, Indiana, 1901-1905:

Died on Sunday morning, August 16th of this year, Thomas Craft, for many years a resident at the south part of Orchard Grove, but of late a citizen of Lowell. Age 77 years. A very kindly hearted man, a good friend. He was not a real pioneer but had lived in the county about fifty years and was interested in our historical works.
