Thomas R. "Tom" Crisler

Lowell High School Top Honor Student Is Leukemia Victim
Tom R. Crisler, eighteen year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester R. Crisler of Lowell, died of leukemia February 18 in St. Margaret's Hospital at Hammond.Tom was a senior at Lowell High School, a member of the National Honor Society and president of the high school band.
Surviving him along with his parents are a brother, Robert, of Cincinnati; and two sisters, Mrs. Annette Schultz, of Indianapolis, and Carolyn Nevarre, of Chesterton.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Eskridge Funeral Home with the Reverend O.R. Foster officiating. Cremation followed at Mount Hope in Chicago.
