The following March 13, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 5:

    Services Held Monday For Thomas S. Yeater

    Thomas S. Yeater, 77, died at St. Mary's Mercy hospital in Gary last Friday, March 7th. Mr. Yeater had suffered a heart condition for several years.

    Residents of Lowell for many years, Mr. Yeater and his wife, May, who survives, came from here from Wabash, Ind., where he was born April 13, 1874.

    For years, while the Dearborn Manufacturing Company operated a branch in Lowell. Mr. Yeater was their competent manager.

    Funeral services were held in the Sheets funeral chapel at 2:30 Monday afternoon with Rev. K.T. McGehee, pastor of the Lake Prairie Presbyterian church, officiating. Interment was in Lowell cemetery.
