- Violet A. Mott, age 77, of Lowell, passed away Tues., Nov. 16, 1993. She is survived by: two sons, William Jerome Mott of Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert (Maureen) Mott; two daughters, Theresa (Jerry) Cross of Wheatfield and Wanda (Robert) Prohosky of Lake Village; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Della Mollenar of Lowell, Mary Reed of Schneider and Myrtle Call of Roselawn, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Nov. 19 at Sheets Funeral Home, Lowell, with Pastor Ballard Lewis officiating. Interment followed at Lowell Memorial Cemetery. Visitation was held from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Nov. 18 at the funeral home. Violet Mott was a member of Eastern Star 157 of Kentland and the Salvation Army.
