The following February 17, 1927, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 7, column 3:

    DEATH OF INFANT

    Walter E. Jenkins, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. A.D. Jenkins, 1017 Borley, Mishawaka, Ind., died in St. Joseph hospital at 12:10 Sunday afternoon, Jan. 30th, following an illness of five days with pneumonia. The little one was born in St. Joseph hospital October 22, 1926.

    Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Elaine and Dorothy Jenkins, and a half brother, Gerald Bergeson.

    Funeral services were held at the home of his grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Parmley, 1002 W. Jefferson Blvd., Mishawaka, Ind. Rev. William Brandon, pastor of the Lowell Heights M.E. church, officiated. Burial took place at Fairview cemetery, Mishawaka.

    Mrs. Jenkins was formerly Miss Lois Parmley, of Schneider.
