Walter Hardy

The following October 6, 1921, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 6:

    Judge Hardy Dead

Judge Walter Hardy, of room No. 2 of the Lake Superior Court at Hammond, died very suddenly Monday evening. The cause of death was apoplexy. He held court all day Monday and went to his home feeling as well as usual and a short time after arriving home he complained of not feeling well and asked his wife for a glass of water and when she came with it he was unconscious, and died in a short time. Judge Hardy was one of the able judges of the state and will be greatly missed.
