W.D. ROBINSON DIES SUDDENLY
PASSED AWAY AT HOME OF HIS GRANDSON IN HAMMOND LAST SUNDAY.
Welcome D.* Robinson, who has been a resident of Lowell and vicinity for a number of years, passed away very suddenly at the home of his grand son, Ernest Wartena, at Hammond at 11 a.m. last Sunday. He had been in his usual health and had gone to the home of his grandson for a few days visit. His death was caused from heart failure.Mr. Robinson conducted a hotel in Hammond for many years and 16 tears ago he retired and came to Lowell to make his home.
He leaves one daughter, Mrs. S.C. Hayden, residing north of Lowell, and one grandson, Ernest Wartena of Hammond.
Funeral services were held at the Burns funeral home Tuesday at 2 p.m. The services were in charge of Rev. Carey, of Creston. Interment was made in the Hammond cemetery beside his wife, who passed away about two years ago.
* NOTE -- Although this obituary gives "D" as Welcome Robinson's middle initial, his wife's obituary listed it as "J."
