Pfc. Peters in Cuba

Pfc. William L. Peters, USMC, son of Mr. and Mrs. James E. Harley of Lowell, is now serving at the U.S. Naval Operating Base, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

He entered the Marine Corps in August, 1949, and received his recruit training at the U.S. Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

Peters attended St. Mary's high school in Carlyle, Ill.
