The following unidentified newspaper article was found on a CD-Rom compiled by Tom and Betty Burton of Lowell:

HUB MAN, 75, DIES IN HOME

CROWN POINT -- William Lamphier, 73, of 336 West Walnut street, Crown Point, died at his home at 2 a.m. today -- one week after the death of his wife. The body was removed to the Geisen chapel pending funeral arrangements.

Survivors include four sons, Theodore, Clark and Herbert of Crown Point and John of Leroy, and eight daughters, Mrs. Bernice McColley and Mrs. Cecil Ceider of Crown Point, Mrs. Agnes Adams of Hammond, Mrs. Dorothy Staff of Lowell, Mrs. Helen Bales of Schneider, Mrs. Pheobe Combs of Lafayette, Ind., Mrs. Gladys Falks of New Carlisle, Ind., and Mrs. Bruce Malott of Shafer Lake, Ind.
