FAREWELL PARTY HONORS BILL KINGERY, L.H.S. SENIOR

Twenty seniors of Lowell high gathered at Junior Alyea's home, with Barbara Doolittle, hostess, on Thursday night to honor Bill Kingery, senior, who left for service in the army air corps Saturday. He will be stationed at Sheppard Field, Texas.

Bill has been one of the outstanding students and athletes of his class, and having passed his exams for the air corps, will receive his diploma from L.H.S.

So that he might be equipped to write to his many friends while away, Bill was presented with a pen and pencil set by his classmates.
