William Potter

William Potter

A copy of the following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:
Word has been received here of the death of Wm. Potter who died at his home in South Chicago Tuesday, March 20, 1906. His death was caused by consumption with which he was sick three months. He formerly lived in Lowell and was an industrious and honorable man and was well thought of by those who knew him. He leaves his wife, who was Miss Helen Bartholomew, and one child to mourn him to whom their friends in this vicinity extend sympathy in their sorrow and bereavement.
