- William McKinney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley * McKinney, stationed with the Air Force in Washington State, is enjoying a leave.
* NOTE: A later newspaper article identifies the parents of William McKinney as Mr. and Mrs. Charles McKinney.
The following February 21, 1952, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 6:
- Sgt. William R. McKinney sends the Tribune a change of squadron number. He is, however, still with the Medical Squadron at McCord Air Force Base, where he serves as a technician, conducting high altitude tests. Address: Sgt. William R. McKinney, AF15276830, 567th Med. Group, McCord AFB, Tacoma, Washington.
The following July 31, 1952, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 2, column 1:
- Airman 1/c Wm. McKinney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles * McKinney, has left McCord Air Force Base, Tacoma, Wash. Having rendered four years of service, he is being discharged and his parents and friends anticipate his early arrival home.
