The following unidentified newspaper article was in a collection owned by Lowell Town Historian Richard Schmal:

    Sherburnville Lodge No. 757 I.O. of G.T.

    We the undersigned, a committee appointed to draft Resolutions expressive of our sorrow at the death of Brother Wooster Cleaver, who died on the 28th day of November, 1867, would respectfully submit the following:

    Resolved: That, while we mourn the loss of our deceased Brother, and tender to his widow and orphan children our heartfelt sympathy, and commend the protection of them to Him who knoweth the sparrow's fall.

    Resolved: That we deeply sympathize with the family of our deceased Brother, and tender to his widow and orphan children our heartfelt sympathy, and commend the protection of them to Him who knoweth the sparrow's fall.

    Resolved, That copies of these Resolutions be forwarded to the offices of the New Republic, Kankakee GAZETTE, and Journal, for publication; also that a copy, attested by the Secretary and under the seal of our Lodge, be presented to the widow of our deceased Brother.
