The following August 15, 1929, Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 4:

    CLASS OF 1927

    HELD REUNION LAST SUNDAY. TWELVE PRESENT.

    The members of the Class of '27 of the Lowell High school held their first class reunion at Lake Dale-carlia last Sunday and at roll call twelve members answered present. The class had twenty-four members and they are proud of the fact that twenty of them are still single.

    A pot luck dinner and supper was served and was thoroughly enjoyed by the hungry class members.

    It was decided to make the reunion an annual affair and they will meet again next year.

    Following is the list of those attending the reunion: Mary Alice Rigg, Gleyn Brown, Robert Brannock, Winslow Brouhard, Catherine Slocomb, Neil A. Spry, Catherine Grant, Neva Lue Smith, Marcella Dougherty, Wayne Tanner, Evelyn Johnson, Irvin Guritz.
