Lowell, Indiana, Fireman's Parade
- This photo comes from the front of a postcard sent from Marguerite S. to her aunt, Mrs. M.B. Slocomb of Arleta, Oregon. The postmark indicates the card was sent from Lowell, but the date is unclear. The front of the card has an arrow with the penciled-in comment "Uncle Howard?" The explanation accompanying the picture follows:
- Part of the message was cut off, probably by the recipient. I found a Howard Slocomb in Lowell on two census records, but cannot find a Marguerite S. I don't know if she was a Slocomb? a Sanders? or had another name starting with "S."
