Markee females
Mr. Jones identifies the women inthe photo as follows:
- These are Markee girls from Momence. I have no names for the two older ladies.
- "88 year old Great Grandma" This would be Mary Jane (Markee) Dickey's grandmother. My grandmother said her grandmother didn't speak any English, only French.
- "58 year old grandma Markee" This is Mary Jane (Markee) Dickey's mother.
- 19 year old Clara -- don't know who she is
- 2 year old Lucille -- don't know her either.
This photo and information comes from the collection of Ernie Jones, great-great grandson of Volney Dickey.
