Maude Dickey Dehner
(Mrs. Edwin Dehner)

The following June 16, 1949, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 6, column 4:

MRS. EDWIN DEHNER PASSED AWAY LAST WEEK

Mrs. Maude (Dickey) Dehner, 68, passed away at the home of friends, the Mont Woods, in Crown Point, on June 4th. She had been in ill health for the past two years.

Mrs. Dehner was preceded in death by her husband and only child, Paul, who died soon after his graduation from Lowell high school in 1927.

She leaves to mourn her passing two brothers, Guy of Shelby, and George of Valparaiso; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Berkshire of Canton, Ohio, and Mrs. Maise Boyce of Los Angeles, California, and many other relatives and a host of friends.

Because of her gentle nature and understanding heart, Mrs. Dehner will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services were held at the Sheets funeral home Tuesday, June 7, at 2 o'clock, and interment was made in Chapel cemetery at Monon, Ind.
