This March 5, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 1:

    Transferred to Camp Robinson

    Major George Stuppy, with the U.S. medical corps, has been transferred to Camp Robinson, Ark., from Washington, D.C., where he has been stationed the past few months.

The following April 29, 1943, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 2, column 3:
    Tuesday dinner guests at the Earl Hayden home were their children, Major and Mrs. G.W. Stuppy of Chicago, Dr. and Mrs. L.B. Hayden and son, Gene, of Wilmington, Ill. Major Stuppy is home for a few days from Camp Robinson, Little Rock, Ark.

This May 10, 1945, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 5, column 3:
    Mrs. G.W. Stuppy of Chicago, was here for a few days with her parents, the Earl Hadens, this week. She informed us that her husband, who is with the medical corps somewhere in the Pacific war theatre, has been promoted to Lieutenant Colonel.
