Anna E. “Annie” McCarty Taylor Hill

Anna E. "Annie" McCarty Taylor Hill
(Mrs. Cassius Taylor; Mrs. Clinton C. Hill)

The following unidentified newspaper article was found in a scrapbook owned by Betty Burton of Lowell:
Married Thursday, September 22, 1904, by Rev. T.H. Ball, of Crown Point, Clinton Hill to Mrs. Annie E. (McCarty) Taylor, of Creston. Both are the descendents of our earliest pioneers, the groom being the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hill and grandson of Rufus Hill, a very early settler, while the bride is the granddaughter of Judge McCarty, who was among the earliest settlers here. They are both highly respected people and are well like by all their acquaintances. The TRIBUNE extends to them happy congratulations and best wishes for their future happiness.
