The following November 20, 1924 Lowell Tribune article appeared on page 1, column 3:
    Mamie May Rosenbower was born at Cedar Lake, February 16, 1889, passed away November 26, 1924, at the age of 35 years, 9 months and 10 days.

    She was united in marriage to Ellsworth Brown thirteen years ago. To this union four children were born, Lucile*, Walter, Sherman and Noble D. Noble D. died in infancy.

    The deceased was a most estimable lady and had a large circle of friends who sincerely mourn her death.

    Funeral services were held at the Creston M.E. church at 2 p.m. Friday. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. C.A. Brown, pastor of the Lowell M.E. church. Interment in the Creston cemetery.

    She leaves to mourn her, her husband, father, John Rosenbower, one daughter, Lucille*, two sons, Walter and Sherman, one sister and two brothers.
