The following August 10, 1944, Lowell Tribune article was found on page 1, column 5:

    BIRTHDAYS AND WEDDING ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATED

    Celebrating the birthdays of Mrs. Harry Hilzley, Russell Hansen and John Einspar, and the wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hale, all occurring this month, a six o'clock dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Einspar last Thursday night. The guests all enjoyed a delicious dinner served cafeteria style, followed by an evening of visiting.

    Present were: Mr. and Mrs. Orville Hale, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hilzley and children, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Hansen and son, Miss Harriet Clark, Mr. and Mrs. C.U. Ragon, Miss Laura Jane Ragon, Mr. and Mrs. John Einspahr.
