    WEDDING ANNIVERSARIES

    A most delicious dinner was given in honor of the wedding anniversaries of Mr. and Mrs. Charles N. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Guy Wood. Other guests present were: Mrs. Charles F. Wood, Harold Fuller, Kenneth Johnson, Wayne, Curtis, Maxine, Edward and Lamar Wood. The dinner was served by the hostesses, the Misses Pauline and Ruth Wood.

    Mrs. Minnie Wood Dies While Vacationing; Funeral Rites Today

    Mrs. Minnie E. Wood, 82, of North Union Street, died Tuesday, June 30th, while on a fishing trip with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Wood at International Falls, Minn. Death followed a heart attack.

    Wife of the late Charles Wood, Minnie Jeffries Wood had been a resident of Lowell for 60 years.

    Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Earl (Fern) Sirois of Shelby and four sons, Guy W. Wood of Lowell, Ray O. Wood of Lansing, Chester L, and Wilbur Ralph of Chicago. Also two brothers, Perry and Ancel Jeffries and one sister, Mrs. Addie Walburn, all of Rochester, besides a host of other friends and relatives in this area, who are invited to call at the Weaver Funeral home after 9 p.m. Thursday, July 2, also until noon on Friday.

    Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Church of Christ, with Rev. E.L. Worley officiating, and interment will be in the Lowell cemetery in charge of John Eskridge.
