This unidentified newspaper article, dated November 19, 1914 [Sixty Years Ago], was found in a scrapbook owned by Town Historian Richard Schmal:
    Married at Crown Point, Saturday, Nov. 14th, Leon Minninger, of Lowell, to Miss Beatrice Willis, of Chicago. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Minninger, and is an honest and industrious young man. He has been working in the Wilson garage for some time. The bride is a trained nurse and has been here on several cases. The young couple will make their home in Lowell and have rented a cottage on Halsted Street.
